- Open the App Store on your iPhone, iPad or Mac.
- Sign in to the Apple Account you want the credit on.
- Choose the Redeem Gift Card or Code option.
- Enter the code exactly as supplied.
- Press Redeem and confirm the account password if you are asked for it.
- Check the account balance to see the credit applied.
Regions and which card to buy
Apple credit is tied to the country of the Apple Account. A code issued for one country will not redeem on an account registered elsewhere, because each store bills in its own currency and carries its own catalogue.
Check the country set on the recipient's Apple Account, then choose the card issued for that same country. Currency shown in a listing follows the region, so a euro card for one country is not interchangeable with a euro card for another.
