How to redeem an EA App gift card
Codes are case-sensitive and should be entered exactly as they appear. Some cards direct you to the EA redemption page, others to the Origin checkout redemption page; use whichever address came with your card.
- Sign in to your EA account, or create one if you do not have an account yet.
- Open the redemption page supplied with your card, either ea.com/redeem or checkout.origin.com.
- Select the option to redeem a code or retail card.
- Type the code exactly as shown, minding upper and lower case, then confirm.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete activation.
- Check the balance under your account's payment section, where the EA Wallet total is shown.
Regions and account matching
EA cash cards and gift cards are tied to a currency and a country store. A card issued in euros will load a wallet set to euros, and a card for the United States store will not apply to an account registered elsewhere. Choose the card that matches the country and currency on the recipient's EA account rather than where the order is placed.
Where a card is marked Global, it is not limited to one country store. Every other card should be bought for the region the player shops in.

- Will an EA App gift card work on an account from another country?
- No. Each card is tied to the country store and currency it was issued for, apart from cards marked Global. Check the account's registered country before buying.
- How do I receive the code?

- What happens to leftover balance?
- Unspent credit stays in your EA Wallet and can be put towards a later purchase. You can add further cards to the same wallet.
- Can I buy EA Play with the credit?
