2. Go to the option to redeem a Steam Wallet Code.
3. Enter your code into the Steam Wallet Code field.
4. Click Continue.
5. Check the new balance in the upper right corner of Steam.

Regions and which card to buy

Steam wallet codes are tied to the currency and store of the country they were issued for, so a code only credits an account set to that Steam store. A code in euros will not apply to an account billing in yen, for example. Global codes are the exception and are not tied to a single country store.
