How to redeem a HEMA gift card

The card is used as a payment method during online checkout on a delivered order. More than one gift card can be combined on the same order, and any remaining amount can be settled with iDeal.

Online payment with a HEMA gift card is not possible for photo products, tickets, bicycles and folding bicycles, custom curtains and insurance.

1. Go to the HEMA site for your country, such as hema.nl.
2. Add your items to the basket and choose delivery for the order.
3. Continue to the payment step of the checkout.
4. Select the 'pay with gift card' option.
5. Enter the gift card code to apply the balance.
6. Add a further gift card, or pay any remaining amount with iDeal, then confirm the order.

Regions and where the card works

HEMA gift cards are tied to the country store they were issued for, so a card bought for one national site cannot be spent on another. Choose the region that matches the country the recipient shops in, and the currency of the card will match that store.

Check the destination country before buying, particularly for a present going abroad, since a card for a neighbouring market will not transfer across.
