Can I use an Australian card in New Zealand, or the other way round?

No. Each card belongs to the store and currency of its own country, so an Australian card is spent in Australia and a New Zealand card in New Zealand.

Can I use the card in a shop as well as online?

Yes. You can enter the card number and PIN at the online checkout, or print the eGift card and take it into a store.

What happens if my order costs more than the card?

Apply the gift card first and pay the difference with another payment method at the checkout.

How do I get the code?

The card number and PIN are delivered to your order once payment completes.

What happens to any balance I do not spend?

Any remaining value stays on the card, so you can use the same card number and PIN again on a later purchase.

About JB Hi-Fi gift cards

JB Hi-Fi is one of the best known consumer electronics and entertainment chains in Australia and New Zealand, selling audio gear, cameras, computers, small appliances, accessories and media. A gift card lets the recipient choose across that whole range rather than being tied to one department, which makes it a straightforward present for anyone upgrading a device or picking up games and accessories.

Cards are issued in Australian and New Zealand dollars and run from small amounts suited to accessories up to larger values that cover a bigger purchase. They sit alongside other prepaid gift cards for retail and entertainment brands.

How to redeem a JB Hi-Fi gift card

The same eGift card details work for an online order or for an in-store purchase, so the recipient can decide which suits them.

Add the items you want to your basket on the JB Hi-Fi site and go to the checkout.
Find the gift card payment field.
Enter the card number and the PIN shown on the eGift card.
Apply the card and pay any remaining amount by another method if the order costs more.
To shop in person instead, print the eGift card and take it into a JB Hi-Fi store.

Regions and where the card works

JB Hi-Fi gift cards are country specific. An Australian card is for the Australian store and is denominated in Australian dollars, while a New Zealand card is for the New Zealand store and is denominated in New Zealand dollars. The New Zealand eGift cards can be used online or at any JB Hi-Fi store in New Zealand.

Choose the card for the country the recipient actually shops in, since a card bought for one market will not apply to the other.
