Can I use a Kaufland gift card in another country?

No. The card is tied to the country it was issued for and is accepted only in Kaufland stores in that country.

Can I spend the card online?

The card is designed for paying directly in store, where the barcode is shown at the checkout or entered at self-checkout.

What happens if my shopping costs more than the card?

You can pay the difference with another payment method at the till. If the shop costs less, the remaining balance stays on the card for a future visit.

How do I receive the code?

The code and barcode are delivered to your order once payment completes, and you can either show them on your phone or print them.

The pin is supplied with the card and is used if you enter the code manually at a self-checkout till rather than having the barcode scanned.

Kaufland gift cards

A Kaufland gift card is a prepaid voucher spent at the till in a Kaufland store. It covers the everyday shop: groceries, fresh food, drinks, household goods and the non food ranges the supermarket carries.

Each card carries a barcode and is presented at checkout, which makes it a straightforward present for anyone who shops at Kaufland regularly.

About Kaufland gift cards

Kaufland is a hypermarket chain operating large stores across several European countries, stocking food, drink, household essentials and seasonal general merchandise under one roof. A gift card puts credit towards any of that, so the recipient chooses what the balance goes on.

The cards suit family gifting, thank you presents and anyone who prefers a voucher that covers the weekly shop rather than a single product. Face values run from small amounts up to larger ones, in euros, lei, złoty and Czech koruna depending on the country of the card. Other supermarket and retail vouchers sit alongside Kaufland in the wider prepaid gift card range.

How to use a Kaufland gift card

The card is used in person rather than online, so it needs to be taken to a Kaufland store in the same country as the card.

Keep the barcode and code to hand, either on your phone or printed out.
Visit a Kaufland store in the country that matches the card.
Take your shopping to a staffed checkout or a self-checkout till.
Show the barcode to the cashier when paying.
At self-checkout, enter the code manually with the pin supplied if a scanner is not used.
Pay any remaining amount by another method if the purchase costs more than the card value.

Regions and where the card works

Kaufland gift cards are issued per country and are accepted only in Kaufland stores in the country the card was issued for. A card in one currency will not be honoured at a till in another country, even though the chain trades in several markets.

Choose the card that matches the country where the recipient does their shopping, and check the currency in the title before ordering. The available country options are listed with the cards.
