Lego gift cards
A Lego gift card is a prepaid code that pays for Lego sets, accessories and merchandise on LEGO.com or in a Lego store. Each card carries a 19 digit number and a PIN, which are entered at the checkout in place of a card payment.
Cards are tied to the country they were issued for, so the currency and the store match that market.
About Lego gift cards
Lego makes construction sets for children and adult builders alike, from small polybags to large display models, along with clothing, storage and other branded goods. A Lego gift card can go towards any of that, including the exclusive sets stocked in Lego stores, which makes it a straightforward present when you do not know which theme someone is collecting.
The gift cards come in a range of currencies, from small amounts suitable for a single set up to larger values for a bigger build, in euros, pounds, Swiss francs, Nordic and other local currencies. They sit alongside other prepaid gift cards for shoppers who prefer to pay without a bank card.
How to redeem a Lego gift card
Redemption needs both the card number and the PIN. On an e-gift card, the PIN is shown next to the 19 digit number.
- Open LEGO.com and add the items you want to your basket.
- Go to the checkout and choose Gift Card as the payment method.
- Enter the 19 digit gift card number in the field provided.
- Enter the PIN code in the matching field and confirm the payment.
- Alternatively, take the card to a Lego store and use it towards anything sold there.
Regions and where a Lego gift card works
Each Lego gift card is issued for one country and its currency, and works with the Lego store for that market. A card bought for one country will not usually apply at the checkout of another, so choose the region where the recipient shops.
If you are buying as a present, match the card to the country the person lives in rather than your own, and check the currency shown in the title before ordering.
Regions currently listed for Lego: France, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Australia, Poland, Italy, Germany, Spain, Brazil, PT/SK, Slovakia. Use the region filter beside the results to see the cards for one country.
Common questions
- Can I use a Lego gift card in another country?
- No. The card belongs to the Lego store of the country it was issued for and uses that country's currency. Buy the region that matches where the card will be spent.
- What happens to money left on the card?
- On listings that state it, any balance left after an order stays linked to the card and can be used on a later order. The same listings allow a maximum of three codes in one transaction.
- How do I get the code?
- The gift card number and PIN are delivered to your order once payment completes, so you can enter them at the Lego checkout.
- Do I need a Lego account?
- You will need to be signed in or to complete a checkout on LEGO.com to enter the card details. In a Lego store, no account is involved.
- Can the card be spent in a physical Lego store?
- Yes. A Lego gift card can be used in a Lego store on anything stocked there, including exclusive sets.
