Can I use a Lulu gift card in another country?

No. Each card is tied to the country and currency it was issued for, so it should be used with the matching Lulu store. Buy the card for the country the recipient shops in.

How do I receive the code?

The gift card code is delivered to your order once payment completes, and you can then use it at a Lulu checkout.

What happens if my order costs more than the card value?

Select the gift card at checkout and pay the remaining amount with another accepted payment method, where the checkout allows it.

Is leftover balance lost after I use the card?

Any balance not used on a purchase stays on the card number, so you can enter the same 26 digit code again on a later order.

Do I need a Lulu account to use the card?

The card is entered as a payment method during checkout rather than loaded to a profile, so you simply need to reach the checkout page with the code to hand.

Lulu gift cards

A Lulu gift card is a prepaid code that pays for a Lulu shop at checkout. It covers the everyday basket: groceries, fresh food, household goods, electronics, fashion and more from the Lulu range.

The card is applied as a payment method during checkout, so the balance goes straight towards the order rather than needing a separate account top-up.

About Lulu gift cards

Lulu is a hypermarket and retail group serving shoppers across the Gulf and India, known for large stores stocking groceries alongside electronics, clothing, homeware and beauty. A Lulu gift card suits anyone who wants to hand over a flexible present rather than pick a single product, and it works equally well for household shopping and one-off treats.

Values are listed in Indian rupees, UAE dirhams and Saudi riyals, running from small everyday amounts up to larger sums suitable for a big shop. If you are comparing options for someone, a Lulu card sits alongside other prepaid gift cards as a straightforward, spend-it-how-you-like choice.

How to redeem a Lulu gift card

Redemption happens at the checkout stage, using the 26 digit number printed on the card code.

Add your items and continue to the checkout page.
Select gift card as the payment method.
Enter the 26 digit gift card number.
Click the Pay button to apply the card.
Confirm the transaction has completed before leaving the checkout.

Choosing the right region

Lulu gift cards are issued per country and carry the currency of that country, so a card is meant for the Lulu store and checkout of the market it was bought for. A rupee card belongs with Indian shopping, while dirham and riyal cards belong with their matching Gulf stores.

Before buying, check where the recipient actually shops and pick the card for that country. A card bought for the wrong market will usually be rejected at the checkout of another.

Regions currently listed for Lulu: Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Egypt. Use the region filter beside the results to see the cards for one country.
