Old Navy gift cards
An Old Navy gift card holds a balance you can put towards clothing, denim, activewear, shoes and accessories for women, men and kids.
The card carries a gift card number and a PIN, which are entered in the gift card section at checkout so the balance covers your order.
About Old Navy gift cards
Old Navy is a family clothing retailer known for everyday basics, jeans, tees, loungewear and seasonal ranges at high street level. A gift card works like store credit against those ranges, which makes it a straightforward present when you know someone's taste but not their size.
Face values run from small amounts suitable for a single item up to larger balances for a full outfit or a family shop. If you are comparing it with other retailer credit, it sits alongside the rest of the prepaid gift cards that work the same way at checkout.
Additional value may be added to the card at any Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic, Athleta or Hill City store, so a balance can be topped up rather than replaced.
How to redeem an Old Navy gift card
Redemption happens at the checkout stage rather than in an account settings page, so add your items first and keep the card number and PIN to hand.
- Add the items you want to your basket.
- Go to checkout and continue to the payment step.
- Find the gift card section.
- Enter the gift card number and the PIN.
- Apply the card so the balance is taken off the order total.
- Pay any remaining amount with another payment method.
Choosing the right region
Old Navy gift cards are tied to the country they were issued for. A United States card is denominated in US dollars and applies to the US store, while a Canadian card is in Canadian dollars and applies to the Canadian store. They are not interchangeable.
Buy for the country where the recipient actually shops and where their delivery address sits, rather than where they happen to be at the time.

Common questions
- Can I use a US card in Canada, or the other way round?
- No. Each card matches the store and currency of its own country, so a US card will not apply at the Canadian checkout and a Canadian card will not apply at the US one.
- What happens to the balance left over?
- Any remaining value stays on the card for a later order. The card is redeemable for cash when the balance is less than $5, or as otherwise required by law.
- How do I receive the code?
- The gift card number and PIN are delivered to your order once payment completes.
- Can I buy another gift card with it?
- No. An eGiftCard cannot be used to purchase other eGiftCards, and it cannot be applied as payment on any account.
- Does it work with every promotion?
- Not always. The card may not be used or redeemed with certain promotional offers, so some discounts may exclude gift card payment.
