Overstock.com is an online retailer known for home furnishings, from sofas and dining sets to smaller décor and household items. An Overstock gift card holds a fixed dollar balance that is spent on the site in the same way as any other payment method, across one order or several.

Values run from small amounts suitable as a token gift up to larger sums aimed at a furniture purchase, all in US dollars. Gift cards cannot be used on Overstock's auctions, cars or real estate sites, and they are not exchangeable for cash.

How to redeem an Overstock gift card

Redemption happens on the Overstock website during checkout. The remaining balance can be checked on the site's gift card balance page.

1. Go to overstock.com and sign in to your account.
2. Add the items you want to your basket and continue to checkout.
3. Choose the gift card option in the payment section.
4. Enter the gift card code exactly as supplied.
5. Pay any remaining amount with another payment method if the order exceeds your balance.
6. Check your remaining balance later at overstock.com/gift-cards/check-gift-card-balance.html.

Region and account requirements

Overstock gift cards are issued for the United States store and are redeemed on Overstock.com with delivery within the continental US. They cannot be purchased or used by international customers, nor used to pay for international orders or products shipped outside the continental US.

Buy a card for the country the recipient actually shops in, since a balance issued for one store's account cannot be moved to another. Choose the US card only if the order will ship to a US address.
