Can I use a Primark gift card in another country?

No. Each card belongs to one country's Primark store and its currency, so it will not be accepted elsewhere. Pick the country the recipient shops in.

Does the card expire?

Before it is redeemed the card has no expiration date. Once redeemed, the funds expire two years after the last use.

What happens to money left on the card?

Any remaining balance stays on the card and can be used towards a later purchase in the same country, subject to the two year rule after last use.

How do I receive the code?

The code is delivered to your order once payment completes, and you can then apply it at checkout.

Can I pay part of an order with the card?

Yes. If the basket costs more than the card value, the balance is applied and you pay the rest with another payment method.

About Primark gift cards

Primark is a high street fashion retailer selling womenswear, menswear, kidswear, nightwear, footwear, beauty and home items at everyday prices. A gift card covers whatever the store carries, so the recipient chooses between a basket of basics, a seasonal refresh or a single larger purchase.

The cards suit gifting when you know someone shops at Primark but not their size or taste, and they work equally well as a fixed budget for yourself. Values run from small top-ups through to larger amounts, in the local currency of each country. Primark cards sit alongside other prepaid gift cards for retail and lifestyle brands.

How to redeem a Primark gift card

Most Primark gift cards are used at online checkout on the Primark website for the country they belong to. Cards issued for Poland are used at the till in a physical Primark store in Poland instead.

Open the Primark website for the country your card was issued for.
Add the items you want to your basket and go to checkout.
Find the gift card field at the payment stage.
Enter the code exactly as supplied and apply it.
Pay any remaining balance with another payment method if the order costs more.
For a Poland card, present the code at the till in a Primark store in Poland instead.

Regions and where each card works

Primark gift cards are country specific. A card carries a currency and is accepted only by the Primark store of the country it was issued for, so a card bought for one country cannot be used on another country's site or in its shops.

Choose the country where the recipient actually shops before buying, and check the currency on the card matches what they pay in.

Regions currently listed for Primark: Germany, United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, Slovenia, Poland, Italy, Austria, Portugal, United States. Use the region filter beside the results to see the cards for one country.
