Can I use a Sephora gift card in another country?

No. Each card belongs to the Sephora store of the country it was issued for, and the value is in that country's currency. Buy the card for the market where it will be spent.

What do I receive after buying?

You receive a 16-digit gift card code and an 8-digit PIN, delivered to your order once payment completes.

What happens to leftover balance?

Any value not used on an order stays on the card and can be applied to a later purchase. You can check the remaining balance through Sephora's gift card balance page.

Can I combine a gift card with another payment method?

Yes. If the order total is higher than the card value, the gift card amount is deducted and the rest is paid with another payment method at checkout.

Does the card work in Sephora stores as well as online?

The instructions supplied with these cards cover redemption on the Sephora website at checkout. For in-store use, check the terms shown on the card itself.

Sephora gift cards

A Sephora gift card is prepaid credit for the beauty retailer, redeemable against makeup, skincare, haircare and fragrance from the brands Sephora carries.

Each card comes with a 16-digit gift card code and an 8-digit PIN, entered in the payment section at checkout so the value is taken off the order total.

About Sephora gift cards

Sephora is a beauty chain stocking cosmetics, skincare, haircare, fragrance and tools from a wide range of labels alongside its own line. A gift card lets the recipient choose for themselves, which suits shoppers who know the store but not the shade, formula or scent someone wants.

Values run from small top-ups to larger amounts, in the currency of the country the card belongs to. Sephora gift cards sit alongside other prepaid gift cards as a straightforward present for someone who shops for beauty products.

How to redeem a Sephora gift card

Redemption happens at checkout rather than in a separate wallet screen, so add items to the basket first and apply the code when paying.

Select the merchandise you would like to purchase on sephora.com.
Go to the checkout page and open the payment section.
Enter your 16-digit gift card number and the 8-digit PIN.
Select Save & Continue in the lower right corner of the payment area.
Check that the gift card amount has been deducted from your order total.
Pay any remaining balance with another payment method if the order costs more than the card.

Regions and where a Sephora gift card works

Sephora gift cards are issued per country and are tied to the Sephora store and currency of that country. A card bought for one market cannot be applied to an order placed on another country's Sephora site, so choose the region where the recipient shops.

If you are buying as a gift, match the card to the country the recipient lives in and the currency they pay in, then check the card details on the listing before ordering.

Regions currently listed for Sephora: United States, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Germany, United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal, Singapore, Romania, Italy, Malaysia. Use the region filter beside the results to see the cards for one country.
