Ubisoft Connect (formerly known as Uplay) is Ubisoft’s game launcher and store. Redeeming a key here adds the game directly to your Ubisoft library.
Before you start
Make sure you have the following ready:
- A Ubisoft account (free to create at ubisoftconnect.com)
- The Ubisoft Connect app installed on your PC
- Your product key
Method 1: Via the Ubisoft Connect App (Recommended)
- Open the Ubisoft Connect app and sign in to your account.
- Click the hamburger menu (☰) in the top-left corner.
- Select “Activate a key”.
- Enter your product key and click “Activate”.
- The game will appear in your Games library, ready to download.
Method 2: Via the Ubisoft Website
- Go to ubisoftconnect.com and sign in.
- Click your profile icon in the top-right corner and select “Activate a key”.
- Enter your product key and confirm.
- The game will be added to your account. Open Ubisoft Connect to download it.
Tips
- Copy and paste your key to avoid typos.
- Some Ubisoft games purchased on other platforms (like Steam or Epic) will still require Ubisoft Connect to run. This is normal.
- Ubisoft Connect keys may be region-locked depending on the publisher.
- Each key can only be used once and is permanently bound to your Ubisoft account.
- If you receive an “invalid key” error, double-check for typos and ensure the code hasn’t already been redeemed.
