Activating an Epic Games key adds the game directly to your Epic Games library. Follow the steps below to redeem your code.
Before you start
Make sure you have the following ready:
- An Epic Games account (free to create at epicgames.com)
- The Epic Games Launcher installed on your PC (or access to the Epic Games website)
- Your product key (usually a 20-character alphanumeric code)
Method 1: Via the Epic Games Launcher (Recommended)
- Open the Epic Games Launcher and sign in to your account.
- Click on your username in the bottom-left corner.
- Select “Redeem Code” from the menu.
- Enter your product key and click “Redeem”.
- The game will appear in your library, ready to download and install.
Method 2: Via the Epic Games Website
- Go to epicgames.com/store/redeem and sign in.
- Enter your product key in the redemption field.
- Click “Redeem” to add the game to your account.
- Open the Epic Games Launcher to download and install it.
Tips
- Copy and paste your key to avoid typos.
- Epic Games keys are generally not region-locked, but some publishers may apply restrictions.
- Each key can only be redeemed once and is permanently bound to your account.
- If the code doesn’t work, ensure there are no extra spaces before or after the key.
- Some keys may be for DLC or in-game content rather than full games. Check the product description.
