The standalone Bethesda Launcher was officially shut down in April 2024, and all Bethesda games have been migrated to Steam. If you have a Bethesda game key, follow the steps below to activate it.
How to Activate
- Since Bethesda games are now on Steam, activate your key through the Steam desktop client.
- Open Steam and sign in.
- Click “Games” in the top menu bar.
- Select “Activate a Product on Steam”.
- Enter your Bethesda product key and click “Next”.
- The game will be added to your Steam library.
Tips
- Legacy Bethesda.net keys should still work on Steam, as all titles were migrated after the launcher shutdown.
- If your key is not accepted on Steam, contact our support team for assistance.
- Some older Bethesda titles (Fallout 76, The Elder Scrolls Online) also require a Bethesda.net account for online features, which you can still create at bethesda.net.
