Updating your EA account email ensures you have full control over the account. This guide applies to both the EA App and legacy Origin accounts.
How to change your email
- Go to myaccount.ea.com and sign in.
- Click “About Me” in the left menu.
- Next to your email address, click “Edit”.
- Enter your password to verify your identity.
- Enter your new email address.
- A verification code will be sent to the new email. Enter it to confirm.
Tips
- You need to know the current account password to change the email.
- If you were given email credentials with your purchase, ensure you can access the current email for any verification codes.
- After updating the email, change the password and enable 2FA.
