Updating your Epic Games email is important for account security, especially if you’ve purchased an account and need to link it to your own email.
How to change your email
- Go to epicgames.com/account/personal and sign in.
- Under “General Info”, find the email field and click the pencil icon or “Edit” button.
- A verification code will be sent to your current email address. Enter it.
- Enter your new email address.
- A verification code will be sent to your new email. Enter it to confirm.
- The email change will take effect immediately.
Tips
- You need access to the current email to complete the change. If you were provided email credentials with your purchase, log in there first.
- After changing the email, update your password as well.
- Enable two-factor authentication after securing the account with your own email.
