About Crytivo
Crytivo publishes and develops independent games with a strong leaning towards building, management and world shaping. The Universim, its planet scale god game, sits alongside The Crust, a lunar base simulation, and Goblins of Elderstone, a village builder with a fantasy setting.
Beyond building, the range takes in demolition racing with TRAIL OUT, eldritch cult strategy in Worshippers of Cthulhu and the park management of Prehistoric Kingdom. Studios behind titles in the catalogue include Good Boys, Crazy Goat Games, VEOM Studio, METALLADLERSTUDIO, Blue Meridian and Pixeduo Studios, covering releases from 2018 to 2026.
Crytivo games in the catalogue
The line up is centred on strategy and simulation titles, with indie, action, casual and racing entries filling out the rest. Alongside The Universim and The Crust you will find Ratten Reich, To Pixelia, Power to the People, Kujlevka, Hotel Magnate, Trench Tales, Carnival Hunt and The Foretold: Westmark Legacy.
Every title runs on Steam. Most come as keys, while The Universim, The Crust, TRAIL OUT, Worshippers of Cthulhu, Ratten Reich, To Pixelia and Goblins of Elderstone can also be bought as accounts, which arrive with the game already on them and are signed into rather than redeemed.
How buying works
Each title activates on Steam. A key is entered in the Steam client or website and adds the game to your own library; if you have not done it before, the Steam key activation guide walks through the steps. An account version is different: you sign in with the details supplied and the game is already there.
Games are sold per region, and a key needs to match the region of the Steam account it is redeemed on. Checking the region stated on a listing against your account before ordering avoids activation errors, and how region locking works explains the detail.
Common questions
- Which platform do Crytivo games activate on?
- All of the Crytivo titles in the range are for Steam on PC. Keys are redeemed through the Steam client or website and the game is then tied to that account.
- Will a key work in another country?
- Only if the key's region covers the region of your Steam account. A key issued for one region may refuse to redeem elsewhere, so match the two before buying.
- What is the difference between a key and an account?
- A key is a code you redeem to add the game to your own library. An account comes with the game already on it and is used by signing in with the supplied details.
- When do I receive my key or account details?
- The key or account details are delivered to your order once payment completes.
- Can I buy more than one Crytivo game at once?
- Yes. Each title is a separate product with its own type and region, so check those details for each one you add.
