Can I use a Meta Quest gift card in another country?

No. Each card matches one country's Meta Quest Store and currency, and the account must belong to that region for the code to be accepted.

How do I receive the code?

The code is delivered to your order once payment completes, ready to enter in the app or on the web.

What happens to leftover balance?

Credit stays in your Meta wallet after a purchase and can be put towards a later one. You can redeem more than one card into the same wallet.

Do I need a headset to redeem the code?

No. The code can be added to your wallet in the Meta Quest mobile app or through a browser, then spent when you next shop in the store.

What are the Meta Horizon+ keys?

They are subscription codes for the Meta Horizon+ VR service, listed for Japan in multi-month durations, and are redeemed through a Meta account rather than as wallet credit.

Meta Quest gift cards

A Meta Quest gift card adds credit to the wallet attached to your Meta account. That balance goes towards games, apps and experiences bought from the Meta Quest Store on a Quest headset, in the mobile app or through the web store.

Alongside the wallet cards, Meta Horizon+ subscription keys are listed for Japan, covering a run of months of the VR subscription.

About Meta Quest gift cards

Meta Quest is the VR platform behind the Quest headsets, with a store of games, fitness apps, social spaces and other virtual reality experiences. A gift card is redeemed into your Meta wallet, where the credit sits until you spend it on a purchase in the store. It suits headset owners topping up before buying a title, anyone without a card on file, and gifting to a VR player in the same country.

Face values run from small top-ups to larger amounts, in dollars, euros and pounds, while the Meta Horizon+ listings come as multi-month subscription keys. Other brands are grouped in the prepaid gift card range.

How to redeem a Meta Quest gift card

The code can be entered in the Meta Quest mobile app or through a web browser. A step by step walkthrough with screenshots is in the help centre guide.

Install the Meta Quest app on your iPhone or Android phone.
Sign in with your Meta account, or create one.
Open the menu and go to Wallet.
Tap the plus button to open Add to Wallet, then choose Gift Card.
Enter the gift card code and confirm with Redeem.
Alternatively, sign in on the Meta Quest redeem code page in a browser and enter the code there.
Spend the wallet balance on apps and experiences in the Meta Quest Store.

Regions and account matching

Meta Quest gift cards are tied to the country of the store they were issued for, so the currency and the account region have to line up. A card bought for one country will not load onto a Meta account set to another, and the subscription keys work the same way.

Check which country the recipient's Meta account and Quest Store are set to, then choose the card for that country and currency.

Regions currently listed for Meta Quest: United States, France, Japan, Germany, United Kingdom, Europe. Use the region filter beside the results to see the cards for one country.
