Can I use a Tango gift card from another country?

Global codes can be redeemed on Tango accounts regardless of country. A code issued for the United States is intended for accounts there and may not be accepted on an account registered elsewhere.

How do I receive the code?

The code is delivered to your order once payment completes, and you then enter it against your Tango account.

What happens to coins I do not spend?

Coins stay in your Tango account balance until you use them on gifts or other paid features in the app. They are not converted back to cash.

Do I need a Tango account first?

Yes. The code is applied to an existing account through the voucher page or the recharge coins screen, so sign in before redeeming.

Is the difference between dollar cards and coin cards important?

Both add to the same coin balance. Some listings state a cash value and others state the number of coins the card provides.

Tango gift cards

A Tango gift card tops up your Tango account with coins, the in-app currency used to send virtual gifts to broadcasters during live streams.

Codes are entered against your own account, so the coins land in the balance you already stream and chat with.

About Tango gift cards

Tango is a live video streaming and chat app where viewers support creators by sending gifts bought with coins. A Tango gift card is a prepaid code that converts into that coin balance, which can then be spent on gifts, stickers and other paid features inside the app without attaching a card to your account.

The cards suit regular viewers who want a set amount of spending in the app, and they work equally well as a present for someone who follows particular broadcasters. Values run from small top-ups to larger coin bundles, with some listed as a cash amount and others as a stated number of coins. Tango sits alongside other prepaid gift cards that load a balance rather than buy a single item.

How to redeem a Tango gift card

Redemption happens through the voucher page on the Tango site or through the recharge screen in your account.

Sign in to your Tango account.
Go to tango.me/voucher, or open recharge coins from your account and choose prepaid cards.
Select the denomination matching the code you bought.
Enter the code exactly as it appears on your receipt.
Confirm and check that the coins have been added to your balance.

Regions and where the card works

Tango codes are issued either globally or for the United States. A global code is not tied to one country's store and can be applied to a Tango account wherever the app is used, while a United States code is intended for accounts set up there.

Match the code to the account that will redeem it, since a country specific code may be rejected on an account registered elsewhere. If you are buying as a gift, choose based on where the recipient uses Tango rather than where you are.
