CD Projekt, based in Poland, publishes the games made by its studio CD PROJEKT RED. Its reputation rests on long single player adventures with heavy writing, branching choices and detailed worlds, from the dark fantasy of The Witcher to the science fiction city of Cyberpunk 2077.

The same studio also branched out into card driven games with GWENT: The Witcher Card Game and the narrative campaign Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales, keeping the same setting but changing the shape of the play. CD Projekt is also closely associated with DRM free PC releases, and much of its work is available as GOG releases.

Games in the catalogue

The Witcher line runs from The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director's Cut and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition through to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, all action role playing games with open or semi open worlds. Alongside them sit Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales and the GWENT: The Witcher Card Game Ultimate Starter Pack.

Cyberpunk 2077 is the first person open world entry, with the Phantom Liberty expansion listed on its own and in a bundle with the base game. Expansions and add on content make up a large part of the range, so a listing may be an extra rather than the full game, and add on content needs the matching base game on the same account.

Platforms across the range include Steam, GOG.com, Epic Games, Xbox One and Series X|S and PlayStation, with releases spanning 2013 to 2023. Most titles come as keys, while several, including Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition, are also sold as accounts.

Buying and activation

A key is redeemed on the platform named in the listing, so a Steam key goes into Steam, a GOG key into GOG Galaxy or the website, and console codes into the relevant store. Step by step help is available for activating a GOG key and for PlayStation codes.

Where accounts are offered, you receive an account with the game already on it and sign in rather than redeem anything; game accounts work differently from keys and are tied to the details supplied. Games are sold per region, and a key has to match the region of the account it is being activated on.
