Based in Switzerland, GIANTS Software both develops and publishes, and is best known worldwide for Farming Simulator. The series builds detailed machinery, crops and livestock into open countryside, and has grown from early entries like Farming Simulator 2011 and Farming Simulator 2013 into the modern releases.

The publisher's range reaches beyond farming. Project Motor Racing, made by Straight4 Studios, moves into circuit racing, Ski Region Simulator turns to winter resort management, and Farming Simulator Kids offers a gentler take for younger players. Together they cover simulation, racing, strategy, casual, adventure and open world play.

Games in the catalogue

Farming Simulator sits at the heart of the range, with Farming Simulator 25 and Farming Simulator 22 on Steam, Epic Games, Microsoft and Xbox, Farming Simulator 25 also on PlayStation 5, and Farming Simulator Kids on Nintendo Switch. Older entries including Farming Simulator 2011, Farming Simulator 15 and Farming Simulator 2013, plus Ski Region Simulator, come on Steam. Project Motor Racing covers Steam and PlayStation 5.

Add on content is a large part of the line up. Season passes and bundles such as the Farming Simulator 25 Year 1 Bundle and the Year 2 Season Pass for both Farming Simulator 25 and Farming Simulator 22 sit alongside the base games, and this kind of extra content needs the matching game on the same account.

How buying works

Each game activates on the platform its listing names: Steam, Epic Games, the Microsoft store for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, or the publisher's own website for certain Farming Simulator 25 editions. A key is redeemed on your own account, and the Steam activation guide walks through that process.

Some titles, including Farming Simulator 25, Farming Simulator 22 and Project Motor Racing, also come as game accounts, which arrive with the game already on it and are signed into rather than redeemed.
