About Curve Games
Curve Games publishes independent titles across action, adventure, strategy, simulation, RPG and simulation-flavoured management, working with studios rather than a single in-house team. Its best-known release is Human: Fall Flat by No Brakes Games, while Neon Giant's The Ascent brings an isometric cyberpunk shooter to the line-up.
Other partners represented include IronOak Games with For The King II, Runner Duck with Bomber Crew, Microbird Games with Dungeons of Hinterberg and Skyhook Games with American Fugitive. The result is a broad slate of indie titles released between 2016 and 2026.
Games in the catalogue
Co-operative and party-friendly games sit at the front: Human: Fall Flat, which appears on Steam, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, plus Human Fall Flat VR and the turn-based adventure For The King II. Strategy and simulation are covered by Bomber Crew, Badlands Crew, Narcos: Rise of the Cartels, Peaky Blinders: Mastermind and Super Loco World: Cozy Train Automation.
Action and adventure games include The Ascent on Steam and Xbox One, Dungeons of Hinterberg on Steam and Xbox Series X|S, American Fugitive on Xbox One, I am Fish, Wax Heads and the arcade shooter Titan Attacks!. Alongside base games, a fair share of the listings are DLC and expansions, which need the matching base game on the same account before they can be used.
How buying works
Each game activates on the platform shown for it: Steam titles are redeemed in the Steam client, and Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S titles are redeemed through the Microsoft account used on the console. Step-by-step help is available for activating a Steam key and for redeeming an Xbox code.
Most titles come as keys you redeem yourself. Some, such as The Ascent, Human: Fall Flat, For The King II, Badlands Crew and Bomber Crew, are also sold as accounts, which arrive with the game already on it so you sign in rather than redeem anything. Games are sold per region, and a key has to match the region of the account it is being added to, so check the region before buying.
Common questions
- Which platform does a Curve Games title activate on?
- It depends on the listing: Steam versions activate on Steam, and Xbox versions activate on the Microsoft account signed in on an Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S. The platform is stated for each game.
- Will a key bought in one country work in another?
- Only if the region matches. A key must be redeemed on an account set to the region the key is intended for, otherwise activation is refused.
- What is the difference between a key and an account?
- A key is a code you redeem on your own Steam or Microsoft account. An account is a set of sign-in details with the game already on it, so nothing is redeemed.
- Do DLC listings need the base game?
- Yes. Add-ons and expansions only work when the matching base game is already owned on the same account and platform.
- When do I receive the key or account details?
- The key or account details are delivered to your order once payment completes.
